Your journey begins at Jerash, nestled in a quiet valley among the
mountains of Gilead. This is the grandeur of Imperial Rome preserved

of the most complete Roman sites outside of Italy.

Next, a short, scenic drive through beautiful pine forests and olive groves brings you to Ajloun. Here stands the impressive Al-Rabid Castle, a vital 12th-century fortress built by Saladin’s lieutenants during the campaigns against the Crusaders.
