JabalBurdah Mountain Trekking tour with or without overnight in Wadi Rum

Detailed Tour Itinerary

When you arrive the visitors center you should buy your entry ticket which costs 5 JD per person and from there you should let the staff of the Visitors Center call our Bedouin Representative. Our Bedouin Representativewill meet you at the visitors center if you don’t have a car, or if you have a car, you will meet him at theWadi Rum Village Guest/Rest House.

From Wadi Rum Village, We will drive you directly to Burdah mountain ( the biggest arch in the desert) where we will have a 3 hours hiking in crossing the mountain. Your hiking and scrambling guide will be with you to escort you the way and to provide all of the necessary equipment.

This is an simple climb, with a scramble on a small difficult part just before and after the bridge.This route is very exciting with some incredible views. When we get down we will have the lunch and Bedouin tea with a rest. Then we will take you to Um frouth rock bridge, which you can climb it, and the little bridge. Then we will take to Khazali Canyon, where you will walk through the canyon and see some ancient Bedouin inscription.

If you are staying overnight :You will then be taken to your overnight accommodation. A traditional dinner will be served (including vegetarian options).

The next day enjoy Breakfast and sunrise at the camp.

You will be transferred back to Rum Village. Or there is the option of riding a camel back (25JD per camel)

If you arrive in Wadi Rum late in the afternoon, you can alternatively take your tour the next morning after breakfast.
